Thank you for your interest in Ring #129 of the International Brotherhood of Magicians in Kansas City. If you are like many people, you probably have some questions about the organization. We have listed some of the most frequently asked questions along with their answers. We hope this will help you learn more about Ring #129. WHAT IS I.B.M. RING #129?
The International Brotherhood of Magicians is the world's largest organization for magicians and magic enthusiasts boasting over 14,000 members worldwide. Members share a common interest in promoting, performing, learning and advancing the art of magic for the purposes of entertainment and amusement while protecting the secrecy of the art. Ring #129 is the Kansas City chapter of the I.B.M. We are known as the "Heart of America Ring."

WHO JOINS I.B.M. RING #129?
Our members come from all walks of life. We have members who are amateurs and professionals as well as collectors of magic and other persons (10 years and older) who share the common interest.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Ring #129 offers three types of membership:

REGULAR MEMBERSHIP (18 years or older) - Receives full membership privileges including the right to vote, the right to hold office, monthly newsletter subscription, the right to attend club functions. Annual dues are $20.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP (spouse or bona fide assistant) - Receives same privileges as a Regular member. Annual dues are $5.

JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP (10 to 17 years old) - Receives same privileges as a Regular member except cannot hold office. Annual dues are $20.

All memberships are subject to a one-time initiation fee of $5.

WHAT FUNCTIONS OR BENEFITS ARE THERE?
Ring #129 holds monthly meetings and sponsors magic auctions, magic lectures, contests, seminars, conventions, and much more!

WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR MEMBERSHIP?
You must have an interest in the art of magic and be a member of the I.B.M. or have an application pending. You should have attended at least two meetings of Ring #129.

WHEN AND WHERE DOES RING #129 MEET?
We meet the first Thursday of the month at the Radisson Hotel at 12601 W. 95th Street in Lenexa, Kansas (corner of I-35 & 95th

St). Meetings begin at 7:00pm.
